Best suited for small lightweight items to medium size products, GBI’s Tilt Tray Sorters equally and simultaneously sort small items, irregularly shaped packages, lightweight poly bags, as well as larger boxes. This sortation system is modular, configurable as an in-line (straight) or oval (racetrack) with multiple turns and elevation changes and is available with a wide range of custom features and options to accommodate the specific requirements.
The Cross-Belt Sorter incorporates many of the latest innovations together with GBI’s proven programming, controls and PLCs to provide a reliable, high capacity and flexible system capable of sorting items weighing up to 75 lbs. (34 kg). GBI’s Cross-Belt features include contact-less induction motors to drive the carriers, and wireless infrared communications and encoders to transmit on-the-fly instructions reducing wear and maintenance requirements.
The Hanging Garment and Pouch Sorter is a modular automated sortation system, designed to provide efficient conveyance of garments on hangers and items in pouches at rates up to 7,000 per hour. The Hanging Garment and Pouch Sorter features include automatic induction, cross hanger detection, order staging (using rail separators), product scanning, and tracking.
The Paperless Pick/Put-to-Light System is a is a semi-automated picking system that assists operators in pulling (picking) or placing (putting) product to meet order requirements. Operators are guided to the appropriate pick/ put locations by means of lighted display modules.
It is an excellent entry-level sortation system used to speed up manual sorting processes while increasing accuracy. It may also be used as a secondary sort to further separate larger order groupings into discrete small orders such as for E-Commerce applications.
Delivering a turnkey system often requires additional components that are carefully selected and integrated into the final solution. GBI has a wealth of experience developing and integrating various Options and Peripherals and works closely with third-party vendors to supply the right combination for each application.
